The Voyagers Classroom is designed to meet the unique needs of school-aged children. Most activities are child-led, which means students focus on their interests and move easily between activities. The children in this classroom get a balance of flexibility and structure—they have the time and space for schoolwork and fun with games, activities, and outside time. School-age children in the Voyagers Classroom will do homework in a quiet area and be provided help as needed. They will also enjoy learning stations for STEM, sensory explorations, and building challenges as well as join in organized outdoor activities (kickball, soccer, tag-related games) plus reading and arts and crafts. My son has been going here for over 2 years now. He started when he was about 2.5. The staff has always been great (especially the managers Tamara & Jenny). If there has ever been a problem with another child, or issue with other staff members, it's been addressed in an appropriate manner. I feel like they really care about my child, and the other children that attend their daycare, and that's so important.
They do a great job of attending to the parents questions and needs. My daughter loves the teachers. They have a more relaxed environment ... not a ridged structure but a nice curriculum which is great for our little ones to spend in and just "be kids". My daughter looks forward to going to "school" which is the most important to a parent.
