With two working parents, excellent child care is an absolute necessity. We found this at KinderCare Learning Center at UCAR. Our two boys (now two and a half years and eight months) have attended since infancy and we couldn't be happier. We've been impressed from the start with the warm teachers, and stimulating environment surrounding our children. Weekly, our oldest son returns home with a new word or concept and enthusiastically shares the activities that fill his day. We've enjoyed and taken advantage of "extracurricular activities" available through the center such as Spanish and JumpBunch. Keeping a precocious toddler busy is no simple task, but the teachers at KinderCare seem to do this effortlessly. They always make sure to share a warm story or anecdote about the day and seem to truly enjoy their time with our children. It is a relief to know my boys are in such caring and capable hands and enjoying themselves when mom and dad have to be at work.
It feels a little weird to say that your one-year-old or even two-year-old is in pre-school, but that is the environment that KinderCare Learning Center at UCAR provides. It is way more than a day care and the environment is very inviting to both kids and the parents. The teachers are both nurturing and interested in providing an environment for young activities. Dropping off my kids in the morning is so easy because I know my kids are in a caring environment, where they will not only learn something but enjoy their time as well.
Our daughter has attended KinderCare Learning Center at UCAR since she was five months old and has now moved up to the toddler room. She enjoys going to KinderCare each day so much that she immediately begins playing with a big smile on her face right when we arrive. The staff are well trained in childhood development, so that they have a good understanding of milestones and age related behaviors and needs. The staff always act professional and are very loving to the kids. The director is very friendly with parents, teachers, and kids, and is always available to parents if they need to talk. We are very happy with KinderCare and would recommend it to families with young children.
