Appreciation to my son’s preschool teachers: Mrs. Donna. Every morning a stream of cars are outside in the parking lot with little faces peering out ready for the day although some are not ready at all. Mrs. Donna has to soothe worries, mop tears, interpret words, and dig deep for patience. I have been glad sometimes eager sometimes relieved sometimes to be dropping him off into her waiting pool of patience. On a daily basis at drop off, Mrs. Donna will listen to him describe what is on his shirt or what he had done over the weekend. She always has time to listen to him and adjust him when I drop him off. It can be hard for a mother to admit that their child is eager to be somewhere else than home. My son loves going to school and being in Mrs. Donna’s room. I know this because when we get home all he talks about is what Mrs. Donna does during the day. In spite of the days he defies, disrespects, misbehaves, I’m sideswiped by his cute smile and brown eyes. I have to love him. But all along through his growth and stalls, Mrs. Donna has shown that she loves for him too. It’s hard work what she does.I ask myself will my son remember Mrs. Donna when he’s twelve or twenty? Maybe not concretely. He might not be able to summon her face or even say her name but she’s like a line in his fingerprint. Her patience and guidance careful instruction and measured words he’ll take them all with him into life and he’ll be better for it.Thank you Mrs. Donna!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Kindercare facility in Huntley, IL! The director, Ms. Jenni does an excellent job. Although my children are only part-time students, she and her staff make extraordinary efforts to make sure that they feel at home. My two year old son has been a student since he was eight weeks old, and my four year old son since he was 18 months. They both recently transitioned to new rooms, which was a little difficult for my 4 year old. Probably because he loved his old teacher, Ms. Candy, so much. During the transition period, someone from the staff sat with him until he calmed down in the morning. Now he is back to his usual, happy to go to “school” self, and loves his new teacher, Ms. Pam. The entire staff is amazing. Not only are they very skilled at working with children, you can tell that they truly care about the students. Ms. Erin in the baby room, still stops by to say “hi” to my younger son in his new room on days when he is there. As a working mother, this really means a lot to me. I would recommend this center to any parent or guardian looking for a place where their child can learn and be loved.

Our family is very happy with the care, love and support we receive from the team at KinderCare in Huntley. We cannot imagine being at another center. The team at KinderCare continues to go above and beyond on a daily basis. KinderCare is also very flexible. As a part of the KinderCare family, we never worry about losing our place at the center. Unlike other centers, we don't feel pressured, nor are we forced to pay a premium when we go on vacation for our kids to remain at KinderCare. We strongly believe KinderCare provides the best care for our little ones and we would not want to be anywhere else!
