On behalf of our son Griffin, we would like to recognize Ms. Donna in the Infant room from KinderCare of Mt. Olive. Griffin joined Ms. Donna's room at three months of age, where he stayed under her care until he was thirteen months. As a newborn, Griffin needed some extra care due to his helmet and weekly therapy to develop. Ms. Donna went above and beyond caring for him while still having a full classroom of students. She would make sure he was well rested, fed and ready to perform in his therapy sessions twice a week after a long day. The next day, Ms. Donna would go out of her way to ask us what we were working on this week so she could reinforce the therapy in the classroom. He has overcome not moving his neck, arm, feeding issues and developmental delays. We were able to successfully stop OT therapy and PT therapy will be ending soon. Griffin has made wonderful strides and has been able to catch up developmentally with his age. Griffin would not be as advanced today without the positive reinforcement of therapy in the classroom, patience and Ms. Donna's concern for his well-being and development. Ms. Donna will always hold a special place in our family's heart.
