Description
Our Nido program ensures that toddlers develop their expressive language skills, experience empathy, engage in pretend-play, and practice social roles as they navigate their first relationships and begin to create their own identities. Educators in our Nido classrooms work to build strong bonds not only between children and teachers, but between teachers and parents as well. This partnership with your child’s teacher, along with excellent communication about your toddler’s development, results in a confident, secure toddler with the confidence they need to express themselves and grow their vocabulary.

Description
We offer opportunities for children to encounter challenges that promote individual identity and collaborative play. In addition to emotional growth, the physical growth of fine motor skills provides two-year-olds with greater manipulative control and an increased desire for independence. As your two-year-old discovers all the things they can do, they will want to communicate with others and to do more things on their own. Our educators understand this and use various sensorial, fine motor, and gross motor experiences to encourage your child’s literacy and comprehension skills and desire for independence. These experiences also allow your child to interact with peers, become more social and begin to develop emotional control.

Children in the Class of the 3s continue to express themselves with ever greater depth and precision. We encourage the development of these emergent literacy skills by awakening their affinity for and interest in written communication. As your three-year-old engages in conversation and exchanges knowledge and information with peers, they are immersed in a world of learning. Each day, educators in the Class of the 3s provide experiences rich with age-appropriate academic components to provoke your child into the act of inquiry and curiosity. Description
Complex thinking for four-year-olds is visible and allows them to give shape to their ideas. We gleefully support this by ensuring children are able to utilize technology, various graphic mediums, written communication and more to further encourage their development and growth. Your four-year-old likely enjoys new experiences and collaborating with peers. Our educators take advantage of this by encouraging experiences that allow for an exchange of ideas in the classroom. This vibrant classroom environment will make your child excited about school, and the experiences in our Class of the 4s lead to rich and meaningful academic, social and emotional opportunities for growth.
