Parent Reviews
I just want to take a moment to send a sincere heart felt thank you to all at Knowledge Beginnings North. I have had the pleasure of sending both of my children to Knowledge Beginnings. They both started at about three months old. My son Brandon is now nine years old and my daughter Juliana is six years old. My situation is unique, as I am the Director at this center and was able to truly enjoy having my children close to me and them receiving the very best education and care. This was truly a situation of having your cake and eating it too. I can go on and on about the wonderful daily interactions I saw as they grew within the program but I want to share what I see now and how the amazing foundation created by everyone that touched Brandon and Juliana in Knowledge Beginnings has helped create amazing, well prepared, excited and passionate children, not only with school but with everything they do. Teachers not only helped create a spark and a true love for learning, but they also helped create confident children. Seeing and feeling that puts me at ease and I know that all that has been instilled in them will continue to be with them through out their lives. You truly have become extended family to my children, and for that, as a mother, I am eternally grateful.
I just wanted to take a few minutes and share some opinions and feelings I have regarding Knowledge Beginnings. As you know our daughter has been attending Knowledge Beginnings since 2009, just after her first birthday. When we first began the search for appropriate child care for our daughter, we searched and researched over and over. We went on multiple interviews and tours of different centers. Up until that point she had never been left in the care of "strangers" - family only. I just wanted to tell you how happy I am that we chose Knowledge Beginnings for Eliza. You and the wonderful staff have always provided nurturing, and comforting care not just to her, but also to us as parents as well. We always feel safe knowing that Eliza is your care. The one troubling problem we have encountered over and over again is we have grown so attached to each and every teacher so much we have always struggled moving our daughter forward to her next classroom. Thankfully we have been blessed to find EVERY classroom she's been in is as great as the previous. It would be impossible to mention all the wonderful things and most excellent people that have touched and shaped her life thus far through Knowledge Beginnings, but I would be remiss not to call out the superstars: Ms. Linda, Ms. Karen, Ms. Megan, Ms. Sara, Ms. Amy, Ms.Wendy, Ms. Dawn, and of course yourself. Now, with all due respect the Golden circle superstars Ms. Paula, Mr. Jarrod and the unbelievable Ms. Jan. We love and respect you all so much that I wanted to be certain another day does not go by without telling you and thanking you. You have sadly created a problem for our future: What do we do after Kindergarten? How can we ever be as confident, in the learning experiences our daughter will have in her future? You have set the bar very high, and for that we will be forever grateful!
We appreciated very much how you intertwined learning with fun activities all through the year. We liked the even paced learning throughout the year with the focus on reading, writing and math. The family projects were a great opportunity for us to work on something together and share with rest of the classroom. The field trips provided varied experiences from being out on the farm to bringing holiday cheer to Meadow Lodge to appreciating the arts at the Performing Arts Center. The year end projects of studying life-cycles of butterflies and chicks were equally amusing and instructive at the same time. We thank you for all your efforts and hard work in making this school year so enriching and memorable and we wish the very best to you and your future students.
