The program's goal is to make learning fun while strengthening social growth and growing each child's curiosity about our world. I hope to get a group of children close in age, and have them stay with me until Kindergarten. Continuity of care (COC) is proven to be beneficial for young children, especially infants and toddlers. COC facilitates secure attachment and decreases children's stress. I like to see children smile at my care!

We will have a new start with children ages 1 to 3 years old as soon as I get enough children enrolled. My classroom is very cute and comfortable, so please schedule a tour to see it. References are available upon request. I have more than 15 years of professional childcare experience (Ages 0 to 6).

I am one of those lucky grandparents that get to be involved in my granddaughter’s early life.That involved picking her up from Miho’s Daycare 2 days a week.My granddaughter thrived at Miho’s.I’d go to pick her up and she didn’t want to leave. Her day was packed with fun (perfect for a young child,right?) so much learning and plenty of one on one attention. It was obvious how much Miho loved the kids. She encouraged growth through learning,whether it be through art projects, books indoor and outdoor play, age related science experiments,music, learning about other cultures and so much more. Quinn loved and still loves Miho as I do.
Our daughter had the most wonderful time with Miho at Kodomo Academy. We were consistently impressed with her hands-on approach to learning, which kept our daughter incredibly engaged every day. The variety of activities she introduced was truly astounding, and we could see our daughter thriving and learning so much. We are so grateful for the positive and nurturing environment Miho created and highly recommend her to any family.
We LOVE Miho and her classroom! She goes above and beyond to create a loving environment that is educational, fun, different, exciting, and feels like home. We looked specifically for a daycare where our son wouldn't get forgotten and where he would get more interaction. They are always doing art and science projects. My son is constantly making progress in all aspects of his growth. She is respectful, communicates everything, and is supportive of every need or change we go through. The kids get to go for walks and play outside because of such a small group of kids. Our son is genuinely excited to "go to Miho's" every day! Kodomo is the best place I could ask for!
From day one, Miho worked with our daughter to ensure comfortably as this was her first daycare experience. Miho makes every effort to communicate often and provides such a truly special environment for the little ones she has. Our entire family, grandparents included, LOVE to see the reports she sends out weekly. Filled with pictures and detailed information, these reports are just above and beyond! Such a treasured snapshot of these precious early years. Our daughter has learned so much and looks forward to attending Kodomo. We feel truly grateful to Miho for all of her kindness, patience and knowledge.
Miho has started something very special at this daycare! Our son was initially very reserved at attending daycare and was very anxious. Miho helped him overcome this anxiety and he is now extremely excited to go to daycare every day! I love how she goes the extra mile to over communicate and the weekly journals she creates are superb.
