We had both of our daughters with Miss Kris for a span of 5 years and were very pleased with the care provided over this time. Our girls both started as tiny babies and stayed through until it was time to start preschool. One of the things we loved and appreciated so much is how Kris worked with us on all aspects of being a new parent, from sleep schedules to eating to potty training. It was very important to her to find solutions that worked in her home but also that we could implement at our home too. This helped both of our girls be great sleepers and eaters! Kris worked very hard to always offer a variety of foods and also to set up optimal sleep environments! We also loved how thoughtful Kris was in planning different activities that worked for all ages. From holidays, to themed weeks all play activities, learning lessons, crafts and snacks coordinated. It was so fun to see the kids so excited. The quality of toys and crafts is also top notch. The kids absolutely loved all of her outside toys, water tables, sensory bins and play spaces. She rotates toys frequently to keep things fresh and kids engaged. The crafts were also always so cute - not random scribbles, but thoughtful crafts and projects that the kids worked hard on and some we still have to this day! Lastly, having our girls in a home environment was so special when they were small. Not only does Kris pour her heart into each child as if they were her own but they also were more sheltered from germs during those younger years. In her home she teaches manners, sharing, table etiquette, how to be a kind friend and many other life lessons outside of standard academics. We’re so thrilled we were part of the daycare family for so many years.

Finding Kris' Home Sweet Home Daycare was one of the greatest blessings since the birth of my child! The care and attention to each child is unparalleled. Ms. Kris cares for the kids as if they were her own grandchildren. She truly loves each child. With her years of experience she helped me to navigate untreaded parenting water with grace and wisdom. I will forever be grateful for our time with Ms. Kris. My daughter loves her so much, she would ask to go to Ms. Kris' house over the weekend! I highly recommend Ms. Kris to anyone in need of daycare for their child. She is a true gem!

My daughter was at Kris’ daycare from diapers through Pre-K. Kris provided a clean and safe environment for her to learn and grow. The kids who are there are happy and engaged in developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day. The structured learning opportunities and social emotional guidance are experiences that helped my daughter reach milestones that eventually lead to Kindergarten readiness and beyond. Miss Kris cared for our daughter from the time she was just 2 months old until she started kindergarten. Having her in a small, in-home environment was ideal for our family, and it truly felt like she had a second home at Miss Kris’s. The kids spent their days doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing, and learning important lessons like good manners and how to be a kind friend to others. Miss Kris created a warm, supportive environment where the children could learn, grow, and feel safe and cared for. Most importantly, our daughter was truly loved, and that meant everything to us. We always had peace of mind during the workday knowing she was in such good hands. An added bonus is that many of the friendships formed during those daycare years have lasted. The kids share a special bond from their time together with Miss Kris, and several of those daycare families are still close friends today. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Kris’s home daycare. Our daughter was cared for there from 6 months-10 months and only left because we moved out of state. Miss Kris is SO very attentive to all the children and their needs, cares for them as her own, and it’s evident she loves them all so much. We never had to worry about anything with our daughter being with Miss Kris. We wish we could’ve taken her with us on our move! Highly recommend her!!

Our experience at Kris’s home sweet home daycare has been phenomenal! Kris is a wonderful loving person and loves to get to know each kid and what they like and what they don’t like. She forms a bond with them to set them up for success. She incorporates fun activities, including sensory boards and fun arts and crafts for the kids and makes sure that they eat a healthy lunch and snack. Couldn’t be more happy at Kris’s home sweet home daycare. Highly recommend!!
