Parent Reviews
Emma is a child whisperer extraordinaire! We can’t say enough incredible things about her as a person and her ability to be so deeply tuned into our children. She has an uncanny way of dropping into such dialed in presence with her spontaneous delight when with children. She always intuitively knows what children need to feel safe and comfortable and she meets children exactly where they are. Our daughter was 1 when Emma entered her life and was incredible shy, had separation anxiety and was weary of most strangers. However when Emma entered the scene, our daughter immediately felt comfortable, safe, and confident with her. We had tried several caregivers beforehand and were beginning to feel like we would never find the right fit until we found Emma. She was always so caring and responsive to our daughter’s sensitivities and provided such exquisite care to her and the other children she cared for simultaneously, tuned into the complexities of their dynamics and helping to keep a state of balance and peace at all times. Anyone who gets a chance to work with her and have their children in her care are truly lucky. She is a heart-centered gem of a human and has an undeniable gift that we are infinitely grateful to have benefitted from. Thank you, Emma!
Emma is a dream teacher! When my kids were little Emma would occasionally babysit and she was my kids absolute favorite babysitter. In fact that’s what they called her-“favorite babysitter”. Emma was a kid herself and a total natural. Playful instructive great boundaries and a gentle touch. My kids loved her. She went on to get formal teaching degree and taught elementary school for many years- Brought her many skills to the.classroom. Now she’s starting a preschool and I wish my kids were still little because I’d bring them to it! She still has a relationship with my now adult children and they’ve never forgotten her. They get excited to see her every time!
Emma taught my daughter and helped her improve her writing skills tremendously. She is warm, energetic, and a highly skilled educator with decades of teaching experience. My daughter absolutely loved going to her home to learn, and Emma created a nurturing, engaging environment where she looked forward to every lesson. I wholeheartedly recommend Emma to any family looking for a caring, experienced, and exceptional teacher for their child.
Emma is one of those rare gems in this world. She is not just gentle and kind but inspires gentleness and kindness in those she teaches. My children blossomed under her care. I am a mental health professional myself and still use what Emma taught me about how to use restorative justice in toddler conflict. I cannot recommend her enough.
Ms Emma has been teacher parent to my both kids Paris and Judy. She taught them with her heart and skills with confidence, constant encouragement and love. My kids became a great students which I will always remember. She also taught students of any race treat them equally. I personally encourage parents to bring your kids to La Casita. Thank you and more success Ms Emma.
