Parent Reviews
If I could give La Petite less than 1 star, I definitely would. I rarely leave reviews but I think other parents need to be aware. I preregistered my daughter who was 7 months at the time with the understanding she would start in the beginning of November since she would only be part time. The director at the time even gave us the Back to School special on registration since we had to wait. At the time, everything was beyond my expectations and couldn't wait for her to start. That was also the end of my pleasant experience. In late September early October, I noticed I had not yet received her enrollment packet to be filled out and noticed I had been charged her tuition fees. I immediately reached out and the tuition was corrected but none of my other questions were addressed. A few weeks later I found out that the director and many teachers had left. I reached out once I found and and explained everything about her registration and being charged again and was asked if I could push her start date another 2 weeks. I understood they were still hiring and agreed. I was told them my account would again be fixed and would receive a call to confirm. Again, closer to her start date, I hadn't heard anything from La Petite. I reached out again and was told my account would be fixed and asked if I could push her start date again to the end of the month and that I would get a call back to confirm.... Again nothing. I stopped by the school to drop off all her paperwork and spoke with the new directory Tina. I was told once again that my account would be fixed and that I would get a call on Friday (11/19) to confirm my account was fixed and that she would be good to start on11/30. Needles to say there was no follow up until I called on 11/29. When I called, I was told by Tina again that she would follow up with me after 10am once she got everyone settled. I did not hear from anyone until I called at 3:40pm. I actually reached their VM system and was leaving a message when I heard someone pick up and the immediately hang up the phone. I called back and explained to Tina once again what just happened to which the reply was "oh I don't know what happened. How can I help you?" There was no apology or anything... just sarcasm. I told her that I didn't not hear from her, my account still had not been fixed from being charged for my daughter who hasn't started, and that I wanted to unenroll her at this point because she has been lost in the mix. Again, I was told they were really busy and will fix my account before closing to let me know it's been fixed and to make sure I could see it on my side. Tina also said that she was trying to locate my daughter's file because she didn't know what happened to it. That has my daughters information, medical information, and copy of her birth certificate ... and they can't find it?!? I asked that it be found and I be given a call back before close to make sure everything has been taken care of and she has been unenrolled. La Petite closes at 6pm and here it is the next day (11/30) and I have NOT heard from anyone. This faculty has the absolute worst communication and while I know there are staffing issues... the lack of communication and sincerity is appalling. They were clearly unapologetic about anything. The overall impression is that they kids are just numbers and money and there is a lack of care that a daycare should have when taking care of children.
Best choice in daycares in chesterfield county. The staff is nothing short of amazing. My daughter loves it here!
My son's primary daycare was closed so I used La Petite as a backup. The staff was very friendly & I love the picture updates I got throughout the day. domoniquesmith We have been very happy with our family’s experience here. The teachers are so loving, and my kids run to hug them hello and good-bye every day. I feel that my kids are safe, loved, cared for, and educated very well thanks to everyone at this school!
I've been really pleased with this school.
via lapetite.comWe have been really pleased with the teachers and staff at La Petite. They truly seem to care about my child and that warms my heart. It's hard for me to leave my child everyday but it makes it easier knowing that his teachers love him.
via lapetite.comThe Director Emme is wonderful and I love how she interacts with me and my child.
