My daughter started at 6 months. Looking back, I'd choose Lanka again. My daughter is now 18 months. She is successfully using the toilet, and sometimes she asks to use the bathroom. She spends most of her day in training underwear, which is wild to me. I think my daughter would be mostly feral without Lanka and crew. I'm impressed with how my daughter is challenged every day with her work and play. When she comes home, we copy the daycare parenting style for our evening and weekend activities. What drew us in initially was the ethos "We teach children to be kind." After a year, we found kindness and a community.
My 6 month old son has attended Lanka Learning for 3 months so far, and we've had a great experience. Ms. Lanka's daycare has a friendly, warm environment and the teachers provide a mix of playtime, reading, outdoor time, learning letters and numbers, and more. For babies like my son, the teachers also help keep him on a good napping and feeding schedule, and provide him a lot of affection and attention. I also love the photos and videos they send throughout the day. It's both a great daycare and a great community to be a part of.
We have been so pleased by our family’s experience at Lanka Learning. Ms. Lanka aims to give children practical and social skills. She and her staff put their hearts into their work and provide exceptional care. Our son is excited to go every day and has made so many friends.
Lanka Learning Academy and Daycare helped our baby grow into a self-sufficient and thriving toddler. All of the kids get individual attention and learn emotional and social skills. There is a mix of play and a lot of Montessori- based learning. We also credit Lanka and her team for helping our son to potty train! We look forward to our daily photo and video updates from daycare and what he will learn next!
My son has absolutely thrived since joining this daycare. In just a short time, we’ve seen incredible growth in his learning and confidence. He’s doing so well with his letters and numbers, and he’s even starting to spell three-letter words and work through simple addition — something we didn’t expect to see this early! Beyond the academics, what really makes this daycare special is the sense of community they build. My son has made great friends, and he genuinely looks forward to going every day. The teachers create such a warm, supportive environment that feels like an extension of our family. We’re so grateful to have found a place that nurtures both his education and his happiness. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a daycare where children are encouraged, engaged, and truly cared for.
