Our family just finished our first year at Laurel Hill and we couldn’t be happier. We enrolled our son who was very reserved and was not speaking much and then our daughter joined him mid year. I can’t stressed how much both my kids have thrived at Laurel Hill. My son is a lot more communicative and social with kids and adults and his language skills have improved immensely. My daughter is very active and loves exploring and the facility is the perfect place to indulge her in every aspect of child’s play, with various art mediums including clay models, musically, rock climbing, bicycling, sand play, imagination dress up …I mean you name it they have it available. I highly recommend this school to every parent that wants their child to learn, explore and grow in a safe space and for parents that want to find a community of parents that are always willing and able to help in any capacity. As a parent, I’m so happy I have found some parent friends it’s very difficult navigating parenthood alone so finding this community has made my life so much easier.

It’s only been three months at Laurel Hill Nursery School, but it already feels like a second home for us. The physical space is great with just about everything a kid could wish for, rock climbing, bikes, art, music, climbing dome, sand (oh so much sand!), etc, but the staff is what really makes this place shine. They are a group of caring, kind, knowledgeable people that truly love watching your children grow and discover new things. The co-op nature of the school lets us guardians watch and learn from the teachers and gives us such a unique window into out kids day at school. Can’t recommend Laurel Hill enough!

Laurel Hill Nursery School has been such a treasure for our family. We weren't looking specifically for a play-based co-op and yet somehow it ended up being the perfect fit for all of us. Watching our kids grow and develop in a safe, creative, play-based environment while simultaneously having access to so many parent education resources and opportunities was priceless. The philosophy and community has built such a strong baseline for both the kids and us, as the parents, that we know we'll all be able to use the lessons we've learned for the rest of our lives. Getting to work side by side with the staff is beyond beneficial. You truly get to know how and why your kids are learning the way they do and you will be able to use that understanding to help them throughout their schooling years (and beyond!) I highly recommend this school and philosophy for ALL families!

There is so much to love about laurel hill. When you walk into the school, the energy is that of busy 3-4 year olds doing their thing, freely, creatively, messily and with so much purpose, gently encouraged by top notch teachers and loving parents. At laurel hill, each kid is met where they are and parents are given great parenting resources and, most importantly, a loving community in which to flourish.
