Our daughter has been at Leaping Learners since she was 6 months old and until she was 2.5 and she has absolutely loved her time there. The individualized attention from the teachers is great, they change the toys out constantly to keep things interesting, and they have a great curriculum that teaches sign language, social and emotional skills, alphabet, numbers, etc. I trust them completely, can’t recommend enough!

We felt it at the time, but we are even more certain of it now after our son has been in childcare/school for several years since, that Mahini is the most competent, dedicated, caring, creative, talented, and (most importantly for first-time childcare parents) trustworthy caregiver/teacher you could ever hope for. I can't stress enough the feeling of trust and confidence we had every day when we dropped him off. His development (from social/emotional to verbal, and beyond) under her care was remarkable, and her transparency and communication on a day to day basis was above and beyond. We have experienced several perfectly wonderful teachers since, but none come close to Mahini. She is a treasure, and your child will flourish.

I was super concerned about placing my then infant in daycare during a pandemic. But 2 years later I am confident I made the best decision. Mahini Adams is a wonderful teacher, she is patient, kind and she cares deeply about the kids. I love the way she is able to connect to my son by singing songs and doing special activities. She takes the time to get to know each of them on an individual level. I appreciate her attention to detail in how they are developing and keeping me up to date on their progress. I love how my son is learning skills that will help him to be a successful student while also learning practical life skills that will help him learn how to take care of Himself , environment and others.

Our child had Mahini as his first daycare teacher, from 20 months until he was 3. He LOVED Mahini, and the only reason we're moving on is because he's aged out into preschool. A bittersweet moment, for sure! Mahini is a wonderful teacher, and was there to support us and our son during COVID, when we were nervous to have our son in daycare. She's thoughtful, responsive, engaging with parents and children, and provides detailed communication and feedback about what happens daily. She helped potty train our son, taught him the months of the year, had daily fun arts and craft activities, and kept us up to date on milestones and achievements. If you need a good daycare, this is the one to choose!

Mahini is an excellent care provider. She saw our toddler through many challenging transitions. She is so thoughtful, observant and truly caring, meeting each child where they are at and gently working with them and supporting them, and incorporating learning and activities that the kids loved. As a mom herself she is very wise. She’s seen it all, and she communicated with us as parents just as she would want for her own children. She went above and beyond to foster a sense of community within the group of children (mixed ages, 1 to 3) and among our families. You couldn’t ask for a better provider.
