Perfect small daycare in an intimate home setting. When we were looking at childcare for my 10 month old we visited really nice commercial day cares in our area. They were good, but we didn’t like kids lined up in a row on cots at nap time or baby cribs jammed next to each other so they could touch or communicate as they went off to sleep of played. It was too institutionalized for us. Instead we looked for small private daycares and came across the reviews for “Learn and play.” They were all very good. Our son has been there for almost 6 months and he’s grown so much. It’s a small cohort of kids, in an in-home comfortable setting. They play indoors and outdoors, and even get to learn about chickens and see vegetables grow. The children’s are always laughing when we go by and they aren’t exactly eager to leave. Mr. & Mrs. Khan provide an amazing and nurturing environment and it is clear the children feel safe, loved, and entertained. We I drop of my son, I feel like I’m leaving him with family. The group stays small, 6 kids max. If you find an opening, jump on it! You will never regret it. We love it for our son. He has grown socially and intellectually. I recommend “Learn and Play” daycare without hesitation.

This daycare is absolutely amazing! It is exactly what a young child needs for their first experience away from home. The home environment provides some consistency and kids are at ease all day. My son gets excited when I pack his lunch box b/c he knows his day’s adventure is about to start. This daycare is the perfect size. It’s a small amount of children so my child gets the care and attention he needs and has just enough playmates to develop social skills. The kids play with both fun and educational toys. They have indoor and outdoor play and learn about plants and animals from the family garden. It’s an absolute joy to see how my baby has developed social skills since he’s attended daycare with Mrs. Khan. All the love and warmth he receives fosters assurance and safety in what he does. She is like a grandma to each child. If you are looking for peace of mind for your baby or toddler and you live in the West Ellicott City or adjacent Marriottsville/West Friendship area, this may just be the perfect daycare for your young one. I’m happy I found Mrs. Khan and recommend her without hesitation.

Learn n Play / Mrs, Khan is a true gem! I can't express enough how much I appreciate the exceptional care they provide for my son. It's like a home away from home. Potty training? No problem! She worked her magic, and my little one is now a pro. Learning here is a blast! From letters and numbers to catchy songs, my child is having a blast while learning. But wait, there's more! Manners are on the menu too. My kid is turning into a polite little superstar. What really stands out is the love and care they (Mr & Mrs Khan) shower on every child. It's heartwarming to see my son so happy and well-cared for. In a nutshell, Learn n Play is where your child's happiness and growth thrive. Highly recommended! 🌟

I don't think I have enough space to accurately portray how much I love Mrs. Khan. She is a warm, loving, honest, and sweet human. I feel like she treats my 10 month old like she would one of her grandchildren. I love that I can drop my son off here and trust that he is not just well taken care of, but that his presence is enjoyed too. At least once a week my husband and I comment about how much we love the Khans. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this in home daycare and I would absolutely recommend them to someone needing daycare services.

We loved Learn n Play Daycare! My son acclimated so well to Mrs. Khan. He really enjoyed his time there and always finished his lunch through Mrs. Khan’s help which was such a blessing because he can be difficult during lunch time. He loved played in the play room and learned so much. He was always hesitant to focus and learn but Mrs. Khan always made learning a game! Learn n Play Daycare weaves in a lot of natural elements with the outdoor garden, chicken farm, and outdoor playground. My son loved spending time outside in nature with Mrs. Khan and his friends. Without Mrs. Khans help, my son would not have adjusted so well to his 1st year of pre-K in school!

My kids have been going to Mrs. Khan since 2016 when my daughter was 3 months and now my son who is 3. My kids love it there and never want to leave. Mrs. Khan plans tons of activities for the kids and there are endless toy options for them. They have a large playground on their property that the kids love. Mrs. Khan does a good job keeping us in the loop with their day. She sends us pictures and videos throughout the day. We’re grateful for Mrs. Khan!

Mrs. Khan is the absolute best. Our almost 2 year old attended this daycare and she loves Mrs. Khan. She loves her so much that she would call her mommy. When choosing a daycare, it’s important that your child feel loved and there was no question about that. My child also has a slight hearing loss and she wore her hearing aids more at the daycare than she ever does with us, I really appreciate that. It just shows that Mrs. Khan goes above and beyond.
