Learning Jungle Mission Gorge serves the Mission Gorge, Allied Gardens, San Carlos and Del Cerro communities. Centrally located off the I-15, our location is a short drive from Downtown San Diego. Our child care facilities and programs foster a lifelong love of learning and cater to children 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

At this age, toddlers become more independent and we encourage their development with a carefully designed program of activities largely through play. Learning Jungle offers a balanced program that allows children to explore, be engaged and develop fine motor, gross motor and cognitive skills. Educators observe and track developmental progress in all five domains to plan activities for each individual toddler. The toddler environment is set up in a spacious area to accommodate for lots of activity and movement. Educators delight in the opportunity to be silly, sing, dance, read, play, and laugh with toddlers. Outdoor play and exploration are also an important part of a toddler’s day to exercise large muscles and burn off energy.

At Learning Jungle School, children enjoy a variety of trips and outings to the Library, local Fire Station, Zoo and other places of interest, in which parents are also encouraged to participate.

We love the staff at the learning jungle, but even more importantly so does are daughter! Some days we barely get a wave goodbye because she is so happy to spend the day with them! They give tons of outdoor time with a variety of activities. They have a rotating menu that is very inclusive of dietary restrictions and are very communicative about how she does each day. We couldn’t ask for a better place for her to spend her time. Thank you to everyone at the learning jungle!!
I have 2 children enrolled at Learning Jungle Mission Gorge. The teachers are wonderful with the children in all age groups and my kids really love their teachers. Each and every day is full of fun, enriching activities that range from active to artistic. They have learned to socialize and the older one has made many friends he is excited to see. It has been a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
We love Learning Jungle because the team provides clear, thoughtful updates while helping our child build new skills during their care. Everyone is so warm and trustworthy, giving us total peace of mind in a safe, nurturing setting.
Learning Jungle has been a wonderful experience from the very beginning. The teachers have always been patient, welcoming, and incredibly caring, making each transition feel much easier. A special thank you to Ms. Maggie and Ms. Elizabeth for providing thoughtful updates and taking the time to ensure each child receives the best possible care. Ms. Lauren and Ms. Bailee are also fantastic. They always greet families with a smile and communicate clearly and consistently. It's clear that everyone at Learning Jungle genuinely cares about the children and works hard to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. Highly recommend to any family looking for a daycare they can trust!
My kids love going to Learning Jungle! My son has had the best experience there since he was an infant. He has learned so much and has made great friends. The teachers and staff are kind and loving and we are so grateful to have them as part of our village.
Our son absolutely loves coming here! He enjoys his teachers, friends and all the activities and enrichment! I have truly noticed and difference in his speech and motor skills since he started, and love that the teachers and directors keep such a great relationship with their families!
