We switched my son from a highly rated school in Newport to Le Port at the beginning of the school year. We were nervous because he had never done Montessori and he has a mild autism diagnosis, but we wanted to see if this environment would work for him. So happy we took the chance, because we love Le Port! It's been the perfect environment for him to learn. Over the year, we've seen him become more independent and confident. His teachers, especially Miss Marty, are wonderful at assessing his strengths and needs and building a plan around them. They communicate really well with him, and with us. Juliette is there from drop off to pick up and is always happy to help us and to answer any questions- we appreciate it!

I highly recommend this Montessori school to parents considering preschool. My son attended only for a few months but really enjoyed his time and learned a lot. The teachers are very supportive and provide a caring environment. My son looked forward to school even on the weekends. He has had a bit of a speech delay and the teachers were very considerate and working with us parents as partners to make his time at school has a wonderful experience. I special shoutout to his teacher Ms. Ruhunage and Ms. Patty. Thank you for looking out for him and especially Ms.Patty for those hugs that truly made a huge difference.
