We just finished our first year, I had a 3 year old and 5 year old enrolled. I love the smaller class size of 8 children, my kids knew names and interests of all their classmates after the first month. My favorite part about the school is that kids get to be kids! Carleen does a wonderful job of sparking imagination and creativity. She rotates items in and out letting the kids explore new things, she also does not tell them what to do with the items, but let’s them figure it out on their own first. I also love that they are learning important social skills. A phrase I hear at our house is “Please stop I do not like that” and “I am not done with that yet”. These are things worked on at school to problem solve on their own that have carried over to our home. It leads to less tattling! Carleen is very patient and encourages independence. She also really listens to the kids and if they express an interest she will look for books and activities to further that interest. She also really loves nature and shares that love with the children. They come home with fun nature facts frequently. You also get tons of feedback!!! She tells you stories about your child or may even ask a question about something your child told her at drop off/pickup. She also post pictures in a private group for you to view is the different activities. This is by far the most feedback I have ever received from school or really any activity. I love hearing how they are when I am not around. I really could go on and on about all the positives of this preschool. You can tell Ms. Carleen does that because she truly enjoys it .
