Our curriculum specifically addresses toddlers’ rapid growth and development by catering to their readiness cues, with the older toddler curriculum focused on preparing for preschool and beyond. When they display interest or signs of emerging skills, we can encourage them to move to the next challenge.

Preschool provides the freedom and opportunity for children to develop and grow in independence and confidence. An engaged child learns! While having fun, they aren’t even aware they are developing reading and math skills. In addition, your child will gain the social skills necessary to succeed in Pre-K and beyond. Our summer camp program is available to all children — campers don’t have to be enrolled in a Lightbridge Academy year-round program to join in the fun. It provides a safe, structured environment perfect for building new friendships, learning through exploration and enjoying the days of summer! Every week has a unique theme to keep our campers engaged and entertained. One week they may be exploring the Wild West and creating stick horses to ride … the next they are a mad scientist with STREAM experiments and bubbling volcanos … or clowning around and preparing their own carnival.

Our son started at Lightbridge during the beginning of the pandemic and they have gone above and beyond to keep our son safe, and loved ever since. We had originally planned to move after building a house but loved the staff at Lightbridge so much we kept our child there permanently. All the staff genuinely care so much for our son which means everything to us. We are so thankful at their attention to detail as our son has a LIFE THREATENING allergy. Miss Jayzel and Miss Allison handled an emergency with our son when he had an allergic reaction so well we were so thankful for their attention to detail and keeping our son safe. All the teachers truly love what they do and it shows. Miss Allison is so friendly and involved with the kids she exemplifies what a caring teacher and person should look like!
Lightbridge academy in Allentown has been nothing short of fantastic. We have two children, 4 and 2 years old, who have been attending three days a week since they were 12 weeks old. The school is safe, nurturing, and educational within developmentally appropriate expectations.
