Toddlers are quickly learning so much about the world around them, developing faster than almost any other age group. They are all about speed — learning to sing, talk and run all at once. Lightbridge Academy’s Toddler Program is designed to make the most of every one of their fast-paced milestones. Our curriculum specifically addresses toddlers’ rapid growth and development by catering to their readiness cues, with the older toddler curriculum focused on preparing for preschool and beyond. When they display interest or signs of emerging skills, we can encourage them to move to the next challenge.

Preschool provides the freedom and opportunity for children to develop and grow in independence and confidence. An engaged child learns! While having fun, they aren’t even aware they are developing reading and math skills. In addition, your child will gain the social skills necessary to succeed in Pre-K and beyond. Through small and large group instruction and activities, teachers focus on every child as an individual — enabling them to gain knowledge and thrive. We initially chose Lightbridge Academy of Fair Lawn because of the clean facilities, general good vibes, and comparatively the best hours offered with limited closures. We stayed for 7 years because of the wonderful environment that allowed my two kids to grow and thrive. The teachers are all amazing! Any working parent knows it is difficult to leave your children for 9-11 hours a day, but I always felt comfort knowing that my children were safe, happy, and fully entertained. We had an overwhelmingly positive experience with the teachers from the infants classroom through pre-K. It’s a wonderful place where my children felt loved and loved their teachers right back. The office staff is also very kind, helpful, competent, and responsive. They are truly fantastic. I would add that my oldest has serious food allergies and they had terrific policies in place to keep her safe. I would recommend this place to any parents without hesitation!
We were with LB for three years and I can't thank them enough for this amazing experience. Facility is always very clean, toys/equipment were modern/new, teachers are super loving and attentive. While plays, songs, or toys might be similar to other daycares -- the administration is by far the best trained and the most professional. And this is coming from someone who experienced montessori and lightbridge academy! Jessica runs the center like a champion. I don't remember repeating a request and/or waiting more than 30mins for an email reply. She knows all kids and their parents (both) by name! Her professional yet loving attitude is reflected throughout the center. Likewise, assistant director Sam is a joy to see at every pickup and drop off. All in all, we always felt like they were family! And I think this is a very-very big plus! LB is dedicated to keep the school open during snow and they really push hard for that. If it's closed, you can assume that the weather situation is really bad. They also have complementary babysitting date nights - the best!- where parents get to enjoy a nice dinner while kids (and their siblings) get to enjoy pizza and movie in their pjs. Win-win for everyone! Overall, I strongly recommend LightBridge Academy!
