Lightbridge Academy’s Toddler Program is designed to make the most of every one of their fast-paced milestones. Our curriculum specifically addresses toddlers’ rapid growth and development by catering to their readiness cues, with the older toddler curriculum focused on preparing for preschool and beyond. When they display interest or signs of emerging skills, we can encourage them to move to the next challenge.

Preschool provides the freedom and opportunity for children to develop and grow in independence and confidence. An engaged child learns! While having fun, they aren’t even aware they are developing reading and math skills. In addition, your child will gain the social skills necessary to succeed in Pre-K and beyond. Through small and large group instruction and activities, teachers focus on every child as an individual — enabling them to gain knowledge and thrive. Our summer camp program is available to all children — campers don’t have to be enrolled in a Lightbridge Academy year-round program to join in the fun. It provides a safe, structured environment perfect for building new friendships, learning through exploration and enjoying the days of summer! Every week has a unique theme to keep our campers engaged and entertained. One week they may be exploring the Wild West and creating stick horses to ride … the next they are a mad scientist with STREAM experiments and bubbling volcanos … or clowning around and preparing their own carnival.

Every morning my 18 month old runs to put on his coat, sneakers and hat to get to school. He runs into LBA Hackensack waving at the school administrators and his previous teachers as he walks his way down to his classroom. He runs into his classroom to greet his teachers and friends and he eagerly waves bye to my husband and I. Throughout his day his teachers keep us in the loop with lengthy descriptions to the hands on activities he’s participating in, photos of interactive play, and personal messages along the way. Upon pick up my little one greets me with hugs and smiles and makes his way back down the halls to give high fives and hugs to the school administrators on his way out the door. My son has been attending LBA Hackensack since 4.5 months old, it truly is his second home. Everyone in the building has known him since infancy and has guided him through the early stages of childhood. I’m so grateful to have found a place where my son literally runs to every single morning. Thank you Mr. Larry for opening this amazing school and thank you Ms. Angela for operating an enriching environment for our youngest learners.
The Purple Cats classroom is an exceptional learning environment for Toddlers. The classroom is bright and colorful, filled with stimulating toys, books, and educational materials for my toddler age group. The classroom is always clean, safe, and well-organized, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to learn and play. But the highlight is that the teachers are highly skilled and experienced in working with children. They are patient, kind, and caring, creating a warm and nurturing environment; My daughter Airam formed strong bonds with Mrs. Shataya, Ms. Stephanie, and Ms. Darijah. They take the time to get to know each child individually, learning about their unique interests, strengths, and challenges. I feel safe knowing my child was learning, but also she was loved! I love my Light Bridge Academy Family and appreciate all their effort. My daughter moved on to Orange Giraffe Classroom two weeks ago, but I feel calm knowing my two years old will be just as happy as before!
