Programming focuses on play-based learning and academic growth. Infants are offered tummy time, outside time, simple arts and crafts, songs, and story time. Toddlers play with toys designed to improve fine and gross motor skills like puzzles, blocks, balls, and tunnels. Science, art, story time, and free play outside are offered to toddlers daily. Preschoolers explore math, science, technology, and movement learning centers. Listening to stories, practicing writing letters, learning numbers and observing the weather are academic activities offered to preschoolers. Pre-kindergarteners learn school-readiness skills. Daily activities include reading, practicing handwriting, art, music, Spanish, science experiments, and free play. School-age children read, play games, work on homework, take walks, and attend field trips.

The staff at the location is beyond compare. Seriously, we have moved MANY times and have lived in many states. This location and the staff is clearly the best fit for our family.
My kiddo has been attending Lil' Explorers Buffalo since he was 12 weeks old (he is three now) and we have loved every part of his experience! Staff/teachers are truly amazing and so great at what they do, the facility is wonderful, the leadership is actively engaged and great at communicating, they do many fun activities throughout the year, and ultimately it feels like a close knit community. My son is learning so much and has thrived there - the love and care is felt and I am truly forever grateful that I never have to worry about him and his care.
Teachers are great & caring and really seem to love working with the kids. They do really great activities, too! My daughter loves her teachers and often talks about them in the morning before we drive in.
Leanne runs a tight ship and I can tell that all of the teachers respect and appreciate her! Our kids come home happy and I can see that they truly enjoy being at school. I know they are learning new things every day and being treated with love and kindness.
We love Lil Explorers Buffalo. Leanne and Paige do a wonderful job managing the facilities, families, activities, and schedules while jumping in where needed. I honestly don't know how they do it all- they are some of the most dedicated management staff I've ever encountered. Miss Dana, April, and Drew are wonderful with my PreK son and I can tell they are genuinely invested in his growth and development. He will be more than ready for Kindergarten in the Fall :) Emily, Amanda, and Kamyrn are so sweet and nurturing with my Toddler 2 daughter, always giving her a hug and redirecting her when she's upset and helping her learn new skills like putting on her shoes :)
Porters experience in the preschool program has been more than amazing!! He loves waking up and going to school each day. Sad when he can’t go. We love that most staff know him by name, and know him and love him for who he is but also help him grow both academically and emotionally!
