My twins have been attending Lil Stars for over two years, since they were 8 months old. Throughout, they have been loved, nurtured, and had so much fun learning through play. I am impressed with the teachers at Lil Stars, their kindness and patience, and their commitment to our children. They regularly go to the community garden where Lil Stars has a plot. They plant, pick fruit and vegetables, catch bugs and play in the dirt. They also go to the nearby park, Reinaldo Segaldo, where they play sports and do gross motor activities. Every Friday they engage in sensory play related to their theme of study. The teachers also plan seasonal and birthday celebrations for them. I am amazed how much they learn and how bonded they feel to their daycare community. From Lil Stars my kids picked up good habits like wiping their hands and noses themselves and helping to clean up after meals. Couldn't be happier.
