Parent Reviews
A lot to share about this school. I will start with specifics around my experience. 1. High staff turnover. Also, their staffing model has teachers go home at 3p, and 'helpers' come in 3-6. There's nothing wrong with this persay, but it led to significant communication problems. 2. On three occasions my son came home with someone else's soiled clothes. 3. My husband and I were not able to make my son's teacher conference - our 14 year old was literally on life support - fighting for her life. I asked if we could reschedule 5 minutes to review his progress. His teacher's response was "I'm not sure I can do that." 4. Unfriendly staff. No windows in class rooms. Dark dingy. Smells like concrete, sweat, and lunchboxes. There were a reported case of bed bugs. 5. Infant room. Staff straps these babies in and da-ta! that is that. High turn over. NO ONE introduced themselves to me when my son started. I literally had to ask their names. I would stop in on my lunch break and check on my baby. He would be beat red, crying hard, just strapped in whatever contraption they had. This happened on multiple occasions. I looked the infant 'teacher' in the eye and asked why she wasn't holding a baby (or my baby) and asked her how could she do this? She didn't have much to say. At this point. I packed my baby up, hired an in-home nanny, and got waitlisted onto another much more reputable center in the area.
