My daughter went to Lucy‘s daycare from four months old until she was 2 1/2. We felt so fortunate to find Lucys. She and her two other caretakers are attentive, kind and very communicative about any of our or their concerns. My daughter adored them and would always race inside when we dropped her off to give them giant hugs. I always felt confident leaving her in their care. They also have wonderful gatherings for the families a few times a year and do special things like little photo shoots for the holidays.
My 17mo old daughter has been going to Lucy's family daycare since she was 5mo old, and we have been really happy with the quality of care she has received from Lucy's Family Daycare and their awesome assistants. We were nervous about choosing a daycare during Covid, but Lucy has been very careful and we wanted to make sure our baby got the chance to be socialized with other kids despite the pandemic. Lucy has done a great job of treating her with love and care, and the small size group of the kids has been perfect for getting our daughter social interactions during the pandemic. She has grown into a really happy well-adjusted kid, thank you Lucy!
We were so fortunate to have found Lucy's Family Daycare. Lucy is a dedicated childcare professional who I truly believe enjoys and loves our children almost as much as we do. She cares about their happiness, development and health. Lucy and her wonderful team create structure throughout the day but leave plenty of time for the kids to play freely as well. She often changes the interior and the toys to create an element of excitement and even though the place is not very big it always feels spacious and organized. Our daughter started at Lucy's when she was 15mo old (the transition was seamless) and was there until starting preschool at 3 years and 3 months. She was always happy to go there and just as happy when we picked her up, eager to show us her latest project. Under Lucy's care, we were amazed how much our daughter developed and became more independent. Lucy and her hardworking, super generous team even threw a goodbye party (after working all day) for the three toddlers that were transitioning into preschool. We had a sit down dinner with a delicious homemade meal and the kids got backpacks with their names on them. Not to mention all the birthdays and holidays when they had prepared something special for the kids, not that they had to, but because they really enjoyed doing so. It felt like a home away from home. The generosity and love were endless! We felt incredibly supported and accommodated as a family as well. I never heard them say "no" to anything that was of importance to us. I didn't have to worry about anything. By the way, the daycare stayed open throughout the pandemic with no Covid cases. You know you have a stroke of luck when you see a vacancy at Lucy's and you need childcare. Grab that spot!
We love Lucy and her team! We've been sending our son to Lucy's for just over a month now and are so grateful that we found this wonderful place. He has loved it from the first day. Lucy and her team are so great with all of the kids. There is a really nice community among the staff and families who send their kids there, and they all immediately made us feel welcome.
Lucy has been wonderful with my baby girl. My baby girl started at one year old and she quckly adapted to the new environment and sleeping schedule. They are very loving caregivers, provide thoughtful activities, meals and snacks. My daughter loves going there since day one and is very attached to Lucy and Veronica and is always happy to see them. I higly recommended her, your kid will be in good hands.
I highly recommend Lucy's Daycare. I took my son to Lucy's when he was 7 months through 21 months old. Her daycare is safe, clean and reasonably priced. Most importantly, Lucy and her staff are warm and wonderful with little ones. She and her staff mind the details: they all sit on the floor and play with the kids at eye level, at the end of each day they thoroughly clean the play area and toys, she changes the configuration of furniture and toys every few weeks, and she puts up seasonal and holiday decorations. She even coordinated a small birthday celebration when my son turned 1. My son took his first steps there, learned how to play nicely with other children, and even learned a little Spanish. When I dropped my son off his first day of daycare, she told me not to worry and that she'd care for him as if he were her own. I truly believed she did that and my family and I are grateful we found her!
We’ve been sending our daughter to Lucy’s daycare since she was 16 weeks old. She loves it and so do we! All the caretakers, but especially Lucy, are extremely warm and loving. You can tell they truly care for the kids. They have also been wonderful to work with through transitions like sleep training and changing nap schedules.
I love Lucy's Daycare! It is very affordable. The owner - Lucy and well as the ladies working there are trustworthy and very caring and loving towards the children. The space is very clean with a great amount of toys and education tools for children. My son has been there since he was 6 months old and every time we drop him off he is very excited. I would highly recomend this place .
Lucy and her staff and her lovely daugthers were really great to our son while he was there. He started April of 2018 until end of December 2018. I only pulled him out because we had family coming over to our home to help. Also as he was getting closer to turn 2, I felt the space was getting a bit smaller for my son. I wanted him to get outdoors more often and at that time they weren't able to provide it. My son loved her food. He learned how to walk there, to speak his first words, including Spanish words. Lucy has a great routine with the kids. Getting back from vacation was never an issue. My son would get back to his routine on the first day back with them. When he started going there, he was about 1 year and so were most of the other babies. After 6 months in, it seemed the babies turned into a group of little friends. They were so cute together. They hugged each other and were always smiling and talktive when parents came to pick them up. It really felt like a little family. We were all so sad on the last day. I definitely recommend Lucy's Family Daycare specially if your baby is up to 18 months.
Lucy is loving, caring, detail oriented and a very responsible caregiver. Her space is clean and very welcoming. My daughter loves going to her daycare and we have had an awesome experience with her. I highly recommend her!
Lucy and her helper (and her lovely daughters) are very sweet and caring. They were flexible with potty training and our 2 year old twins had fun with them, dancing and singing. However, I wouldn’t recommend them for older toddlers. When we were there in August & September, Lucy wasn’t able to do outings very often (it’s on the 4th floor), which is different than what she said she did when we interviewed and visited. And they didn’t seem to be aware of the developmental needs of older toddlers (saying we needed to “talk to” our 2 year old when he pulled off the window guard while unsupervised during naptime). Towards the end of our time there, she started to diversify the activities, but not quickly enough to keep 2 year olds engaged in one room all day. She also changed the contract on us, taking a day off that was not listed in the contract, and not returning the remainder of our monthly payment after we gave her the required two weeks notice.
