Exceptional school! The facilities are amazing. I love the playground for my son and the classrooms, not to mention the location in the heart of the Energy Corridor; a safe neighborhood for your kids.
As a family, we are so happy with the performance of our kids. We found in this school the attributes you would expect from a top-ranked school. The Lycée International de Houston develops great skills for the students: Leadership and confidence, just to mention a couple of them. It was the best choice once we arrived in Houston.
It's by far better than any another in the Houston area. If I could rate this with 10 stars this school I'll do it. As a parent, I'm proud to register my kids every year there. Is a great school for your kids!
A high level bilingual school , they balance between the classes in French and English, they provide support for the kids who need assistance, they help the kids do their homework at school , all the teachers are super friendly and have a high academic level, the whole community in the school is very welcoming as well.
Great international school with a solid program and quality education. We like the small size classes and the community that has been built in the 3 years of the school.
Our child is currently in pk4 and has been at LIH since pk2. He is happy to go to school which is very important for us. His teachers have always been exceptional both in their learning and in their humanity and kindness. The small size of the school allows the children to be very close, to gain confidence and to do many things. Our son is now bilingual even though we do not speak English at home, which proves that the teaching is of quality. It's a very family-oriented school that puts the children at the heart of their projects. Basically, we are convinced and quite a fan of LIH
Lycee International de Houston has an amazing preschool program that allows your child to immerse in two languages. The children spend time with a French and an English speaker and it is so great to see them become bilingual in such a natural way. Young brains can learn other languages so seamlessly. This program is perfect for anyone hoping to have second language acquisition at an early age. The classrooms are small and the community is so diverse and supportive. Your children will love the program and my American children are almost completely bilingual at this point because of the early introduction to French. We do not speak French at home but if you heard my children speak, you would think they grew up in France. I highly recommend this school to all parents no matter what languages are spoken at home.
