Preschool program located inside KOP Medical Center offering an environment where children are encouraged to develop social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills. Curriculum provides developmentally appropriate lessons for each age group and each individual child. Teachers prepare environments so that children may learn through active exploration and interaction with adults, other children, and materials. Center adapts curriculum based on each child's differing style and abilities. Children are given choices fostering development of self-control and self-esteem. Infant program encourages learning through experiences and identification. Toddler program provides children with manipulatives to pique interest and curiosity. Preschool program creates an interactive environment for children to gain decision-making skills necessary for elementary school learning.
