Since our daughter started with Mattie in June 2024, we haven’t looked back! We have always been a daycare center family - as a military family our oldest was in different daycare centers up until he started school. We initially had the same set up for our daughter. When we moved to the PNW and put her in the Kindercare Center, we were desperate to find another option. Unfortunately, Kitsap County is limited in its daycare resources and she had to remain at Kindercare for over a year. Finally we got the opportunity for a spot with Ms. Mattie. Being our first home daycare experience, we had our reservations and didn’t know if it would be the right fit for our family but after the interview we knew that we had hit the JACKPOT. Mattie took our daughter into her daycare family with open arms. She took care of her like a mother would and has become my daughter’s home away from home. We will not consider having her anywhere else until she starts Kindergarten. It is hard to leave your children while you are away at work, but knowing you are leaving them with sometime so knowledgeable and loving provides a sense of comfort that cannot be beat. If you have the opportunity to have your child in Mattie’s care, take it! You will not regret it.
