Our Toddler program provides opportunities for children to physically explore their world inside the classroom and on the playground. They also begin more structured activities, such as learning centers and circle time. Your toddler will begin learning concepts of color and size, build their vocabulary, and explore foundational scientific concepts. My family loves Merryhill Preschool in Davis! We started our child in the infant nursery when he was 4 months and we've been very happy with the experience. Ms. Diana is an excellent communicator and has been especially helpful in making us feel comfortable leaving our son in the infant room. As first-time parents, we've really appreciated her guidance and thoughtful suggestions to help him adjust.
We love Merryhill! My son is turning two soon and has been at Merryhill since he was about 5 months old. I had a lot of anxiety as a new mom when he first started but the teachers were so wonderful and he loves school! Ms. Li is absolutely wonderful. She has been "with us" since he started and we are eternally grateful for her calm and helpful presence. She truly cares about the kids and it is apparent she loves her job. The activities and arts and crafts seem to be the perfect blend of fun and learning. The school itself is clean, organized, and welcoming, and the the principal, Ms. Alexis is very communicative. Highly recommend!
We've been at this preschool for about a year and a half with our toddler, and now our baby has joined the infant room. We honestly couldn't be happier. The school is clean, well organized, and so thoughtfully run. The directors and leadership team are always responsive and approachable--we've felt supported every step of the way. The teachers are truly what make this place so special. I tend to do drop off in the morning so I can mostly speak about the morning crew: Ms. Li is a gem. She has such a calm and nurturing presence, and you can just tell she genuinely loves and understands the kids. Even during busy mornings with several infants at once, she somehow manages to keep everyone happy, safe, and cared for--all while greeting parents with a warm smile. Ms. Michelle is also wonderful with our toddler--fun, kind, and so engaged. Both of our kids light up when they see their teachers, and that says it all. We are so grateful for the care, love, and professionalism we've experienced and would recommend it wholeheartedly to any family looking for a safe and joyful place for their children
The staff are very friendly! The safety measures they have there are great including the check-in process and PIN codes for each family.
We really like all the teachers, assistant principal, and principal of Merryhill School Davis. They all are very kind, communicate well, and take care of our daughter so well. She enjoys going to Merryhill School. We enjoy all the fun events the school organizes throughout the year.
