Description
Our Toddler program provides opportunities for children to physically explore their world inside the classroom and on the playground. They also begin more structured activities, such as learning centers and circle time. Your toddler will begin learning concepts of color and size, build their vocabulary, and explore foundational scientific concepts. Our teachers understand the challenges that one-year-olds face in a social learning setting, and have experience in helping them adjust to the give and take of the classroom environment.

My daughter is showing improvement in being comfortable without me being present, she seems happy and engaged, and she is showing signs of learning new things from her class. I appreciate the daily photos and updates that I receive when she’s ther. I also appreciate that her teachers greet me every time I drop her off and let me know how her day was when I pick her up.
My daughter has been here since she was 18 months old, and has thrived through many different phases of her development. The teachers genuinely care for her, and I know she is loved and nurtured. It will be hard for us to move to regular school next year, but I know she has been prepared intellectually and emotionally by her time at Merryhill School.
