The moment that we stepped foot in the classroom at Middleburg Montessori, we were blown away by what we saw. Young children, aged 3 - 6 worked independently in a multitude of different work areas, some were outside hammering nails into wood, others were working on bead chains, some were painting, and others writing. The focus, attention to detail, and leadership that we observed amongst the children was something that we had never witnessed before. From that first moment, we knew that this was the educational path that we wanted for our daughter. Our daughter is now starting her sixth year at Middleburg Montessori, and that excitement that we had for her attending her first year at 2.5 years old is still just as strong. With each passing year, her inquisitiveness and joy in learning new things increases. Whether it is viewing a beehive under a microscope, feeding the chickens, taking care of the hogs, helping a younger student tie their shoe, or even just climbing trees, our daughter truly thrives at Middleburg Montessori. As a parent, your greatest desire is to see your child flourish in their environment, for their eyes to light up when they learn something new.
