My husband and I have had the privilege to enroll my son in this daycare. We've had many experiences with various daycare centers in the past, but we were so glad we found Minnows Daycare. My son who was 3 at that time did not like daycare. When we would drop him off, he would cry, or just go to the window and not associate himself with any of the other kids, but when we dropped him off at Minnows, he immediately found his comfort place. Ms. Joyce has her room set up so cute and was very warm and inviting for my son. Throughout his time at Minnows my son learned his days of the week, months of the year, how to write his name, his alphabets, all his shapes, the seasons, describing the weather, learning opposites, count to 100, yes, 100 and most importantly because the teacher to student ratio was 1:6, my son was able to develop close friendships and interpersonal skills. I can't stress enough how blessed we were at having my son attend Minnows. Now he is thriving in school because he learned so much at that daycare. You would expect a day care to just babysit your child, but Ms Joyce's heart and goal for these kids is to prepare them completely for kindergarten and be successful in life. I highly recommend this daycare!

We cannot say enough good things about Ms. Joyce and Minnows daycare. Since day one we were impressed with her focus on preparing our son for kindergarten. Our son has learned so many things under her care: counting, sounding letters, the days of the week, months of the year, the planets in our solar system and the list goes on and on. Our son is only three but he has learned in a fun safe environment and he has blossomed as a result of Ms. Joyce's care. While they do learn a lot, the kids also have a great time doing arts and crafts, as well as playing in several areas of the room. If your on the fence about sending your kids somewhere, we HIGHLY recommend Minnows Daycare! You won't regret it.
