I can't say enough about Mr. and Mrs. Cabrera! We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care and education our daughters receive at Mrs. Cabrera's Neighborhood. From the moment we enrolled, we knew we had found something special. A home away from home where our girls are not only safe but genuinely happy and thriving. One of the things that stood out to us right away was the low teacher-to-child ratio. Mr. and Mrs. Cabrera clearly take the time to get to know each child--their unique personalities, needs, and learning styles. It shows in the way they interact with every child. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care along with their patience and dedication, give us peace of mind each and every day. They also communicate really well. Whether it's navigating a tough developmental stage or celebrating a new milestone, they provide thoughtful guidance and reassurance. We've always felt like true partners in our daughters' growth. Their willingness to have open conversations, offer advice, and listen without judgment has helped us feel supported through every transition. We're also impressed by the focus on STEM activities, even at such a young age. The program incorporates hands-on learning, simple science experiments, and opportunities for critical thinking in fun, age-appropriate ways. Our girls come home talking about numbers, nature, and how things work with such excitement. It is amazing to see how much they have learned at only 2 and 4 years old. Most importantly, we've seen huge growth in their social and emotional development. The program fosters kindness, empathy, and confidence. Our daughters are learning how to express themselves, manage emotions, and build friendships--skills that are just as vital as academics. This daycare has exceeded every expectation we had. It's clear that Mr. and Mrs. Cabrera deeply care about all the children, not just as students but as little people with big hearts and bright futures. We're so thankful to be part of such a nurturing and inspiring community..

My now 3-yr old daughter started with Mrs. Cabrera's Neighborhood back in the summer of 2020. I don't know how we got so lucky. Since day 1, Mrs. Cabrera just blew all of our expectations out of the water!! Originally, we were only thinking of sending our daughter just part-time (due to the pandemic), but then we realized how incrediblie Mrs. and Mr. Cabrera were and we realized it would actually do our daughter a disservice if we didn't send her full time. Boy are we happy with the decision we made! Our daughter has absolutely LOVED every single moment at Mrs. Cabrera's Neighborhood. The memories made are priceless! They have a low student-teacher ratio, which not only makes it super safe, but super intimate too, with each child receiving consistent, guided attention, love and care. The teachers wear masks all day long and they continuosly wash the children's hands thoughout the day. They temperature-check upon arrival and gently teach the children to wear masks themselves. It's quite amazing! They provide you with advanced schedules for the week so you know exactly what your child will be learning. They also provide beautiful monthly newsletters (which, I have put away as keepsakes) and they send you reassuring pictures of your child throughout the day through an app. Their professionalism in everything they do is spot-on! Mrs. Cabrera holds an advanced degree from UCI. She has unparalleled expertise in children and a mastery of teaching. She not only loves the children, but you can tell that she deeply understands them and meets them at their level. She is so SO gifted. At Mrs. Cabrera's Neighborhood, they follow a fun, yet structured curriculum and have new and incredibly creative and diverse activities planned every single day!! One time, they built a solar oven and made s'mores, another time they carefully practiced how to use scissors by cutting fake hair (i.e. string) from a funny character. They read and sing and dance. They get fresh air and outdoor play daily, followed by balanced and delicuous home-made meals. They are taught table manners and how to stay seated during their meals. They use puppets and magnets and legos and study class pets like caterpillars and tadpoles. They love parties and love to celebrate all the holidays with the kids. They taught my daughter how to gift wrap presents and decorate a tree! They put on THE MOST WONDERFUL winter concert where the kids got all dressed up and proudly sang all the songs they were taught (including ones in Spanish!). They made an edited video (with bloopers even) and sent it to all the parents and it personally brought me to tears! Thanks to them, my daughter has also become quite the artist with a virtually perfect grasp of her pencil/crayon. She has been writing her name since she was only 2.5 yrs old, knows her numbers 1-20, all her colors, her abs'c, days of the week and months of the year. She has always loved and respected her classmates and teachers and continuously thinks and talks about them. I could probably write a small book on all the amazingness of this daycare/preschool! The most precious part of it all is that the teachers genuinely love and care for the children as if they were their own and it is obvious in everything they do. I could just keep going and going but I need to force myself to end at some point, so I will end it with this... If you are looking for a daycare, please do yourself a favor and contact Mrs. Cabrera's Neighborhood immediately and pray that they have availibility lol!! You will not be disappointed!!! Not in the least!! With everything they've done for my daughter I will vouch for Mrs. Cabrera's Neighborhood for as long as they exist!! If only I had found them sooner!

Mrs. Cabrera's Neighborhood is a place we feel safe sending our child every day. They have very strict health requirements, which are imperative in the time of Covid. Mrs. and Mr. Cabrera are caring, thoughtful, patient, and clearly experienced as teachers and caregivers. We appreciate the individualized attention and opportunities for learning, in particular the variety of topics covered and emphasis on child-led, social/emotional development. Our 4yr old enjoys school so much we increased our enrollment from 3 days to 5 upon her request. We are happy knowing that our child is safe and happy at school.
