Our son had this opportunity to be part of My Little Jade Daycare from the age of 11 months until age of 3.5 years old. Our journey finding the right care for our son was not easy because of the pandemic and his severe allergy issues. Many daycares turned us down and told us they wouldn’t have the bandwidth to care for our son because he needs extra attention. When we first met Marisol, she immediately made us feel safe and comfortable. The space is not the biggest but it is organized, cleaned and decorated with thoughts and love. She always handpicked the most healthy snacks and makes homemade lunch for the kids. She is honest and patient with the kids regardless how crazy things can be. Our son learned simple math, recognized abcs and how to spell their names with Marisol’s play-based learning approach. She also ordered age appropriate materials, and they did art and crafts, sang and danced… so much so that our son did not want to leave at the end of the day. We know we can trust Marisol and her family with our son. They are like family now! They are kind, patient, and thoughtful teachers who I really appreciate for being a great part of my daughter's infant stage of her life. She was always (literally, every single day) happy to go to the daycare. My daughter went to the daycare for 6 months when she was 10-15 months old. We quit because our family needed to go back to Japan. It was 2021. I still imagine how caring and loving my daughter would have grown up to be if we were still with them.

My Little Jade Daycare has been my go-to since my 1st born was 3 years old. My son and my daughter both attended the day care and are now in elementary and thriving. As an educator, it was important for me to be able to go to work to do my job knowing that my own kids were not only safe and taken care of, but that they were provided with enriching, age-appropriate activities that would help them thrive when they entered preschool and TK/Kinder. My son is now 8 and my daughter is 5 and they are doing very well in school. They know how to make friends, share, be mindful of others, take care of themselves (good bathroom and hygiene skills), etc. and they knew a lot of basics (colors, numbers, songs, routines, etc.) before starting school! I know it's all thanks to Marisol and her wonderful daycare. There's lots of heart and skill at My Little Jade Daycare and as a parent and educator, I whole-heartedly recommend this daycare!
