Parent Reviews
Can't say enough good things about Sona and her family. Hers was the first day care our first child ever attended, so we were in uncharted waters as we shopped around for the best fit. We visited 4-5 different home day cares and Sona was the clear winner for several reasons. First, she and her family are incredibly caring and empathetic people who give individualized attention to the kids, and she intentionally maintains a small group of kids of all ages. She stays in regular contact with parents, often sending pics/videos of your child(ren) throughout the day (always the best part of my day when at work!). They cook amazing homemade snacks/meals, and she gets the kids outside as much as possible. She has a big play area with swings, slides, a rock-climbing wall, chalkboard, toy bikes and cars, and other resources for young kids to refine their motor skills and explore the world around them. There's also a zipline for older kids, garden, sandbox, and pottery studio, and in the summers they have fun water activities. She's also always adding new stuff to the play areas. It all left me wishing I could stick around and play too! Our daughter was always excited to go to Sona's every morning, and never wanted to leave at the end of the day. She attended for 18 months, starting just after turning 1 through June 2022, and Sona played a big role in getting her potty trained and expanding her vocabulary. We only left because we moved out of the area, but we wanted to keep sending her there. When she left, Sona had an awesome "graduation" party for her complete with cap and gown. If you're lucky enough to score a spot at Sona's home daycare, jump on it. Your child will have a lot of fun and impress you with their growth and newfound knowledge from Sona.
