Our Richfield daycare opened in 2003, is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and holds a four-star rating from Minnesota Parent Aware. Our Richfield childcare center has six infant daycare rooms, four toddler daycare rooms, and six preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. All of our childcare classrooms utilize an age-appropriate curriculum, which incorporates reading, STEAM, social-emotional learning, and more. Summer at New Horizon Academy provides your child a safe environment to learn, play, and explore during those happy summer days. Our SciKids at New Horizon Academy program provides children with opportunities to engage in a wide-variety of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities. From participating in engineering challenges to exploring motion, gravity, and energy, we will have a blast exploring the wonderful world of science.

We have absolutely loved our time (4 years and counting) at New Horizon Academy - Best Buy! The staff are all so knowledgeable and well trained. I’ve felt so comfortable leaving my daughters with them since day one and know they take great care of them. The directors are so approachable along with all of the teachers to help talk through any transitions or issues. I’ve had many conversations with them all even just about what I can do better as a parent and have felt very supported through every conversation about my girls. I can't think of a better place to start the learning and development of my girls than here!
