Newberry was very disappointing to us. We were excited for this daycare since it had such great reviews, but were surprised how little was true when our child actually went there. They almost never did activities or crafts, and several times they sent home crafts which my child said they didn't make - which is bizarre. They never went on outings, almost never read books to the kids, my child struggled with bullying, and were often upset there was never enough room for them to color at the tables at the end of the day. You'd think they'd figure out how to make more space for every kid to color - pretty simple. The daycare shared supposed learning themes that I would ask my child about and they never actually taught them anything. Whenever we tried to talk to a worker during pickup at the end of the day we were treated like a nuisance. Very poor connection and direct verbal communication. My child was bored out of their mind going there and always begged to not go. It was very sad. We felt led on and lied to. We have experience with other full-time daycares where we never experienced these kinds of things, and this one was surprisingly lower caliber. It's like they didn't think they had to try - it was literally just expensive babysitting and nothing more.
