Bilingual early childhood program offering academic and social preparation along with exposure to Puerto Rican culture and heritage. Learning environment acts as a community and actively empowers staff and parents to promote healthy living and lifelong learning. Children learn through play and are encouraged to be curious independent thinkers. Academics are presented in a dual language immersion format where lessons are taught in both English and Spanish. Lessons and activities follow Creative Curriculum modules. Food program is funded by W.K. Kellogg Foundation and incorporates healthy eating, gardening, nutrition lessons, and connections to local farms into each school day.
