As a stay at home who had to return to work daycare or a learning facility was a big hurdle! The heartache of leaving you children in someone else's care coupled with the guilt or having to return to work was momentous at times! But KinderCare made it as seamless as possible! They welcomed my many calls to 'check-in'! I could not be there for their first week, but the KinderCare staff took pictures and made a collage! My twin girls talk about their teachers Ms. Victoria an Ms. Ashley as though they were an extension of our family! My three year girls can recite the spelling of their names and writing their names reading and calling out letters and numbers! Telling me stories! Comprehending stories! KinderCare has been a blessing to our family and their structured and balanced syllabus pails in comparison to their loving, dedicated and patient staff! What a great place to help foster the joy of learning and playing!!! From Lorene the Center director to the chef that prepares the meals...everyone is stellar in what they do! So, from this Mom of twins to your family! I say highly recommended and suggested without reservation!! Thanks KinderCare of North Billerica!!
How do I love KinderCare North Billerica? Let me count the ways! When we first started looking for childcare I called all of the local daycare centers and not one was able to accommodate my husband’s rotating schedule, except for KinderCare. They are very flexible and understanding if we have a last-minute schedule change. Ms. Krissy, when she was caring for my daughter and learned I was pregnant and having a boy, knitted him a lovely blue blanket that we still have to this day and he is five now! Not only do my kids love all the teachers and staff there but Lorene and her crew have bailed us out many times that we found ourselves in need of “extra” childcare. One particular instance comes to mind. During the summer my mother-in-law passed away and we needed an extra day of childcare for, not only our son who already goes to KinderCare three days a week, but for our daughter as well who is school-age and doesn’t even go there anymore. Lorene agreed to take both of them the day of the funeral - our son for the extra day and our daughter. There was the day that a car was driven into the front of the school. All the kids had to be evacuated. It was a terrible situation but it was handled with calm! Erin called me at work to let me know what had happened and asking me to pick up the kids. I picked them up and the scene I saw when I arrived just served to reinforce why my kids go to KinderCare. All the kids were in the fenced-in playground area playing and acting like kids. Parents were checked in as they came and kids were signed out in an orderly fashion. Ms. Katie signed the kids out without any undue drama. So basically I started with KinderCare because they were able to accommodate our crazy schedule but I have stayed with KinderCare these past seven years because they have proved worthy of my trust with the most important people in my life – my kids! They go over and above the call of duty and I could go on and on and on but we just plain LOVE them there!
For the last seven years, KinderCare has taken such great care of our two boys. When I come with our second grader to pick up our preschooler, they are so happy to see him and welcome him with open arms as if he were still part of the KinderCare family. I’m convinced their extracurricular phonics program has played an integral role in both of our sons’ ability to read. Our second grader reads at a 4th grade level and our preschooler can read at a kindergarten level, thanks to Kelsey Phonics and Reading!
