Parent Reviews
When my daughter was born we originally decided on another day care facility that was slightly less expensive. After two weeks we realized that we had made a HUGE mistake and brought her to KinderCare and it's been great ever since. It's tough as a parent to leave your kids in someone else's hands every day, but you have made that burden so much easier for us to bear. We can go to work without worry and truly feel that she is in a safe, happy, and healthy environment. The care and compassion shown by your staff is remarkable and you do a wonderful job of keeping us parents informed on a daily basis. We were especially impressed by the "no-bouncy-seat" policy in the infant room. Part of the problem at the other daycare is that we felt that Sara was being left in a swing all day, unattended and unable to "explore". We feel that the KinderCare environment, which promotes movement and exploration, was a significant factor in her walking at an early age. We also feel that the learning and hands-on style promoted in the toddler class and her current class are contributing significantly to her expanded vocabulary and other skills(letters, numbers, etc.). She now comes home and tells us(with enthusiasm and a smile) about her day and what she has learned, at age two! I always recommend KinderCare to people in search of a quality day care, and we thank you again for everything.
I am a full time working mom and have had my daughter in this learning center since she was three months old. Her care by the providers has been amazing. They are very attentive to her needs and discuss with me any recommendations they have regarding changes in her care. They give me updates at the end of every day of any new milestone she may have reached and also provide daily communication sheets so I know what she has done throughout the day. Not only do they provide care, nurturing and support but also teach, read, do art projects and sing to her and her group. The directors, Eric and Sandy, are excellent in answering any questions you may have about KinderCare. They are experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of childcare services and running a child care facility. They are very organized and send emails regarding all things going on at the center. I highly recommend KinderCare Learning Center in North Haven for your infant, toddler or child. I am looking forward to my daughter growing there as she becomes a toddler, goes into Prekindergarten and even after school care when she goes off to kindergarten!
As a parent, my biggest concern when looking for daycare was the safety and comfort of my babies. I immediately felt comfortable with the North Haven KinderCare environment and quickly signed up. The staff have cared for my children through the years as they ate their first solid foods, learned to walk, graduated from Preschool, and entered “big” school. Now, almost 8 years later, my children attend the after school and summer programs and think of this as their second home. They have made friends and enjoy their time so much that sometimes when I come to pick them up, they keep me waiting! I think that says it all.
