Northeast Sanctuary- Thunder Bay Learning Center

Thunder Bay Learning Center has been a blessing for our family. After a long search for the right daycare for our almost 2-year-old, we found everything we hoped for—and more—here. From my first conversation with Nancy, I felt confident this was the perfect fit, and that feeling has only grown stronger. Our son LOVES going to "school." He adores his "teachers" most of all, and within weeks, drop-offs became effortless because he couldn't wait to join in the fun. The staff keeps us updated throughout the day with an easy-to-use app, sharing photos, videos, and details about his activities. By pick-up, he’s happily exhausted, full of stories and content. The loving, play-based environment they've created has genuinely shaped him. His manners, emotional regulation, and habits are improving every day. As a first-time mom, I've also learned so much from the staff—they’ve provided invaluable guidance on everything from potty training to handling toddler behavior. This center is everything I could hope for no screens, lots of outdoor time, play-based learning, firm yet gentle boundaries, and teachers who treat every child with genuine care and respect. Choosing Thunder Bay Learning Center has been one of the best decisions we’ve made, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to any family seeking a nurturing and enriching place for their child.
