Parent Reviews
I’ll start with the things I liked about this school - the teachers seemed great, my child had fun and enjoyed his classmates, and there were interesting programs throughout the year for them. Why I’m leaving a 1 star review has to do with the owners. In expressing my concern for the current COVID safety protocols and wondering if the school was doing enough to ensure our children’s safety I was met with resistance. When I went on to ask why they wouldn’t consider asking adults to wear masks when in the facility or doing temperature checks on kids as they arrived at school, they dismissed it. After a positive COVID case was confirmed at the school and the school shut down for 10 days, I again expressed concern for improving COVID safety protocols and they told me that it may be time to part ways and said that my emails were aggressive and accusatory. I can’t recommend this school, especially at the price we paid, to anyone. We also had to swallow the 30 day notice fee (a full month of tuition as stated in the contract) because we did not feel welcome or comfortable having our child in their care anymore after the communication we received over email. There are many other wonderful daycares and preschools in the area and while this incident pertains to COVID, my concern and attention to my child’s safety is always a top priority for me and should not be met with unkind words or a dismissive attitude.
