As a proud alum, I always knew we'd send our kids to Park West Cooperative Nursery School. And it has been such an incredible experience, everything I hoped it would be and more. The teachers are phenomenal and have a world class approach to play-based education. My older son, at age 11, still reminisces about his time at Park West Co-op. The lasting impact of his time there is also apparent in how easily he is able to try new things, share, handle losing and winning with grace, think critically and with compassion, feel empathy, etc etc. When I told my friend (whose kids also went to park west) that I was pregnant again, one of the first things she said was, "I'm so jealous you are going to get to do Park West again!" It's just that special of a preschool. Whether you live in Lincoln Park or not, it is worth every second of commute!
we love the play based style of teaching at Park West and the feel of community here! we have had 2 of our children go here so far, and love the teachers!!
