Our entire family has been extremely happy with our experience at Peaceful Cottage - especially our toddler! We were fortunate to start at the school when it was opening, and it is as warm, engaging and inviting as we hoped it would be. We have been able to see how the director and teachers truly enjoy working with our child - which is reciprocated by our toddler! As the school is growing the director has been extremely thoughtful about introducing new staff to the classroom and patiently fostering trust and comfort between the staff and the children as she expands her purview across the classrooms. The school day is purposeful while still being playful - the children engage in preparation and clean up of their work, which is creative and focused. We especially like the way that the outdoor space is coming together - including a large "paint board", a garden, and a chicken coop! The staff are communicative and observant, commenting on our child's interests and providing opportunities to pursue them. We are very happy to be a part of this community and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, warm, and thoughtful environment for their child.
