Miss Léonie has over 15 years experience working in various classroom settings including her prior time spent as a preschool teacher at prestigious LA schools, implementing yoga at LA inner city schools and working as an administrator for UCLA Bright Horizons. Petit Lion was launched after moving to Carlsbad wanting a school where her children could receive a trilingual education, organic lunches and small group learning with skilled and educated teachers.

We absolutely love Petite Léon. The Spanish and French immersion is such a gift at this age, and it’s amazing to see how naturally she’s absorbing both languages. The staff is incredibly kind, communicative, and clearly loves the kids. As a parent, there is nothing more comforting than knowing your child is being truly cared for while you’re away. They also do so many fun, engaging activities, and we love being able to keep up with everything through the app. We’re so grateful for this daycare and couldn’t recommend it more.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Petit Lion Language Academy over the past year. The teachers are wonderful, and my daughter loved going every day. The Spanish and French immersion has been incredible. She picked up so much and we still sing songs together in both languages at home. My daughter loved the days when the kids cooked lunch as a group, and I always appreciated the updates through lilio to see photos, activity notes, and nap times each day. We are so grateful to have found this school!
My son has loved his time and experiences here. Amazing place for kids to get exposure to other languages and foster social and emotional development.
