Curriculum includes problem-solving, practical life skills, numbers, shapes, colors, reading, songs, arts and crafts, and writing. Designed especially for our location in Kendall Square with two full exterior walls of 15-foot windows, we have established this location with four age groups in mind and special activities for each. We have individual classrooms, quiet spaces and shared space for each age group to enjoy for gross motor activities, as well as music and movement and other classes. Parents have the opportunity to observe their children though the windows that connect each room to our community space. We are located a short walk from the Kendall Square T, two blocks from a fabulous playground and have on-site access to weekly outdoor concerts and an ice skating rink in the winter!

Everything we do is based on the belief that each child is unique and there is not a “one size fits all” approach to what we do. The key element in helping a child develop to the fullest of their capabilities lies in discovering who they are. When we have knowledge of who the child is, what their personality is, then we have the tools we need to help that child grow each and every day. There is never a need to “change” who the child is, just simply a need to know who they really are, and how we can help them achieve their true potential.

Description
At the Pine Village Summer Camp, we jump into Spanish Immersion on our adventure through Spanish-speaking countries and regions! Pine Village offers two four-week summer sessions for children from 15 mos. – 5 years old. As with the school year, families can choose anywhere from two- to five-day schedules. Each day, children and teachers will embark on a magnificent imaginary journey to explore Spanish speaking countries and experience life as a child in a different country. Activities include dancing and crafts, cooking and games.
