Highly recommend Primrose School of Amarillo Southwest! All of the staff is friendly, patient, and caring towards both of my girls! My oldest daughter started when she was 2 years old and attended thru Kindergarten, with her sister following closely behind. When she changed schools for first grade, she possessed the confidence, social, and communication skills for a very smooth transition. The best problem we had was that she was too prepared for first grade, excelling in reading, math, writing, in addition to not being overwhelmed by the information presented because she had already seen it before. Her first grade teacher was very surprised to see her reading at an almost 2nd grade level and loved that she knows when to be silly and when to do her schoolwork. “She is an excellent example to her peers and classmates” was expressed multiple times in our first parent teacher conference at her new school. The teachers at Primrose are second to none and it is such a wonderful feeling as a parent; we truly consider all of the staff our second family! Of course everyone’s little one is special but ours came to us at about 7 months old with an extra set of issues. He’d been bounced around a bit and came to us from Child Protective Services. The staff at Primrose have helped him to feel secure and gave him the opportunity to make friends in a well structured environment. I cannot say enough about how well Primrose helped him to become a well-adjusted and well-behaved (as well-behaved as any four-year-old anyway) child. Great staff, great care. Highly recommended!

We absolutely love Primrose and are so thankful our 20 month old daughter gets to attend! She looks forward to school every morning and has learned so much. We are especially grateful to her teachers and all staff for caring for her and customizing day to day things with food allergies! As a parents who has struggled at previous daycares, this has been a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. We know our daughter is loved and well taken care of!

Primrose has been the best choice we could've made for the most important thing in our lives. The faculty at Primrose Amarillo Southwest truly care and love the families that walk through the doors. It is evident the educators there have a deep understanding of early childhood development to engage the kids and to make learning fun.
