Parent Reviews
We enrolled in Primrose in March of 2012. My husband and I had been searching for a more structured learning environment for our daughter. We also became very interested in the Private Kindergarten since our daughter has a birthday very close to the state's cut off date for Kindergarten enrollment. Our daughter had become somewhat timid and withdrawn at the previous school in which she was enrolled. I took her on a tour of Primrose and she seemed to light up looking at the classrooms and meeting the teachers. She attended the Pre-K classroom thru August. Her pre-K teachers were very supportive and allowed our daughter to become comfortable and blossom again into the curious, fearless child we had always known. Her Kindergarten teacher is just as wonderful as her pre-K teachers. All are easy to talk to, supportive, and sincerely interested in the development of children. Our daughter loves going to school, loves the teachers, and has made great friends while attending. We also have a son who is 2 and he thrives in the curriculum for his classroom including reading, music, free play, art, and outside time. The nurturing, caring, educational environment provided at Primrose can have a significant positive impact on your children. It definitely has on mine!
My son LOVES to go to school each day. As an educator myself, I know how important it is to lay the foundation of school and to make a great impression. My son gets to school fairly early each day and is only in his morning class for 10-15 minutes before going to his regular class. When his morning teacher, Ms. Carmen was away on her honeymoon, my son asked about her each day. This spoke volumes to me about the character of the teachers that Primrose hires. Even though he only has this particular teacher for 10-15 minutes, she has made him fell comfortable, welcome, and loved. He now expects that each day. Primrose thrives on structure and routine which is so important for young children. My child is in the Pre-K class and loves his friends, his teachers, and most of all his school. He will be joining me at my public school the year after next and I often tell him that he will be coming to "Mommy's school soon." He always replies, "I don't want to go to your school. I want to stay at my school!" Thank you Primrose for loving my son so much that he feels safe, wanted, and eager to go each day. It makes parting with him so much easier.
We started at Primrose when my now 9-year-old was only two years old. Little brother came in on his heels as he was leaving. We have had some great teachers (and only one or two that were not-so-good..) along the way. Susan Russo is absolutely the best Director, hands down. She is very hands-on, devoted to the students, teachers and parents. She is a beautiful person, inside and out. My boys and I simply just love her. Oh, and Mr. Ron is The Best Chef - we love him too. We are thankful he prepares delicious and healthy meals for all the children.
I cannot believe the time has come to give our notice of last day. Wow! Seems like just yesterday Tom and I were taking a tour of Primrose and were so anxious about being new parents. We had no idea what we were doing (still don’t!). I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful place, full of fabulous loving people to help us navigate the first five years of Sarah Grace’s life. The experience that we have had has gone above and beyond our wildest expectations. Thank you for being an integral part of Sarah Grace’s life and for preparing her for the next step, elementary school.
After having our son enrolled at two other schools in the Franklin area and being disappointed, we decided to try Primrose. Wow! What a difference, the level of communication and professionalism of the staff is unmatched. My son started at Primrose when he was four and continued through the Kindergarten program there since we decided to wait and send him to Williamson County Public schools the year after he turned five. I was so thankful that Primrose chose to offer this "bridge" class to help prepare him. He is one of the few in his Kindergarten class who knows the sight words and knows how to read. He is doing excellent in academics at school and I know that Primrose played a big part in that. We did not experience any turnover of his teachers and have absolutely no negative feedback to give - he loved the school and we did too. Thank you so much for contributing to his future.
