Parent Reviews
Our family loves Primrose! The quality of their curriculum, staff, and facilities is simply the best that we've come across. Our daughter's knowledge improves by leaps and bounds week-by-week. She is so excited to be at school, and that gives my husband and I such peace of mind while we're working full-time. The Primrose staff possesses the true talent to work with children, and this caring atmosphere was evident from Day 1. The staff also goes above and beyond by giving the children snack goodie bags, numerous art/craft projects, music CDs and other gifts. And for the parents, they host parent's night out events, Christmas shopping events, take-home chili dinner, and even cinnamon buns in the morning - we feel so spoiled! :-) Thanks so much - the tuition is worth every penny to us.
To start with just a little background of what brought us to Primrose. Aria was born with several medical issues and wasn't expected to survive. She had private duty nursing at home for many months after a 50-day stay in NICU. When she was about 13 months old, nursing was coming to an end so the time came when we had to start the search for just the right care. We made several appointments for surrounding "daycares" and never got the warm and fuzzy feeling when we left. Most responses we received due to Aria's medical history and conditions were "we will TRY to meet her needs". See, Aria did not eat by mouth at all - she was on a feeding tube via a mickey button. TRY just wasn't in our vocabulary when it came to getting the best care for her. Our appointment came for Primrose and we were greeted with smiling faces and eagerness to show us around. We toured the facility and talked with Julie and Holly in detail about Aria's needs. The last few words we will never forget them saying were, "We will do whatever it takes to meet Aria's needs". They were familiar with and had experienced other children in the past with feeding tubes. It didn't take long for us to make the decision and let them know they had won us over! When Aria started, her private nurse was allowed to come to school with her during the nurse's last few weeks, so she could work with teachers in feeding techniques to help Aria learn to eat by mouth. Aria's physical therapist also came to school to work with Aria during the day.Aria has experienced the love and care from many teachers throughout her time at Primrose. We have nothing but exemplary comments to make about the school, the staff and learning methods. Learning started in the infant class! They keep parents engaged with everything and always have fun and exciting events for the kids. It's amazing how every staff member knows every child by name even if the child isn't in their class! This month we will approach our 4 year mark for Aria. We have been extremely satisfied with the care Aria has been provided and highly recommend them to anyone seeking above average preschool teaching for their child. We will be sad when August approaches as we have to say goodbye (full time anyway) to our Primrose family. Aria has been more than prepared for kindergarten and we will all three miss Primrose, but know that we have made lifelong friends with each and every one of them. Kudos to Primrose! They receive a AAA from us!
After looking into many Mothers Day Out programs in our area I realized I wanted more for my little one than just child care I wanted him to be educated, challenged & cared for the way I would. Primrose exceeds my expectations on a weekly basis. My son has learned so much from his teachers in the 9 months he's attended Primrose. I am planning on homeschooling my kids and I know that Primrose is giving my son a solid foundation to build on. I truly do HEART Primrose!
My youngest daughter is in the infant class and I know that she loves it already! She can't get out of my arms fast enough in the mornings to greet her teachers and say hi to her friends. As a parent, I want my daughters to get the best education possible and in the most caring /nurturing environment possible. I know I have that here.
I have been a Primrose parent for 15 years and my youngest son is now in the toddler class at Primrose. When we moved to Chattanooga, the staff at the Primrose School of East Brainerd became our extended family. My sons, Andrew - 15, Jack -10, Nicholas -7, and Troy - 16 months have all started at Primrose in the infant class. With each new milestone that my children have reached, the school and the staff have been there to celebrate with me and my family. The level of caring and involvement that the school staff has from the teachers to the franchisee is tremendous. No concern has ever been too small and everyone is always quick to act to ensure that everyone is happy, safe, and learning! Primrose Schools has fostered a love of learning in my children and helped them grow into curious, well-rounded, adventurous boys. As a matter of fact, I loved Primrose so much that I joined the staff over 9 years ago! I truly believe in the programs and more importantly enjoy helping to implement them each day.
