Parent Reviews
Our journey with Primrose started when my oldest daughter, now 6, was a only 4 months old! She was born a month early and taking her those first few days were the hardest thing I thought I'd ever do...then she graduated from Primrose and started Kindergarten! That was hard! I'm so fortunate she has been able to stay at Primrose for after school during her kindergarten year and now for Summer Camp; this is her 2nd year of Summer Camp w/Primrose!My second daughter is now 18 months old and has been a Primrose baby since she was 3 months old. I can't imagine my girls being anywhere else! Not only was our original Primrose School (Brassfield in GSO) our family for a little over 5 years they helped us transition to New Irving Park in August 2011 when my oldest started Kindergarten and they even pick her up after school each day! They are both learning wonderful skills while in school each day...structure and play at the same time, sharing, cleaning up and playing nicely! Both began learning around 6 months of age sign language and boy was I surprised how quickly both learned and were able to use it! It worked...even though they couldn’t talk and use their ""words"" they could ""tell"" us what they wanted with their signs! BTW...my husband got to learn sign language too b/c when a 10 month old is telling you ""eat"" w/her signs you BETTER know what she's saying!!!!Anyway, we have been a part of the Primrose family since July 2006 and the administrators, teachers and other families are now like our family and I can't thank them enough for the love, care, knowledge and hard work they do every day as they help us teach and care for our girls!Thank you Primrose!!!
Sending our son to Primrose of New Irving Park was one of the best decisions we have made as parents. He loves going to school everyday and looks forward to being with his teachers and friends. We have also been very impressed with his level of knowledge and the curriculum Primrose offers. The environment at Primrose is very family-oriented and we love being able to see first-hand the children's progress.
I want to say thanks to Primrose, I feel that you guys made a huge difference in Evan's life. My son Evan started Primrose at the age of 1. He is now 11yrs. old. He made straight A's every year in elementary school. He was taking AG classes. He scored in the 99 percentile in math, 87 percentile in reading on his EOG's. I feel that your school gave him such an advantage starting Kindergarten and I can't thank you enough. We love you guys!
Our journey with Primrose - New Irving Park began six years ago with our son, Owen, who is now a rising second grader. I can't begin to describe how well-prepared he was for kindergarten, and we credit this to Primrose, and their dedication to providing a solid educational foundation for their students. We have always been impressed with the Primrose teachers and managers who genuinely care for their students and families. Additionally, in a business with high turnover, this school has managed to retain many of the teachers who Owen had. It is comforting, to have these same teachers now teach our youngest, Evan, nearly 4 years later! We have complete confidence in this school to meet our son's needs and know that he is always safe, happy, and engaged when he is there.
