Nido, which means “nest” in Italian, perfectly describes the nurturing setting for our youngest learners. At this stage, small children are seen as explorers and scientists. As children transition from the Nido program to our Preschool program, they enter a phase of the curriculum that builds upon on their expanded vocabulary. Collaboration and communication become the cornerstones of all activities. Within this framework, children are prompted to engage in small peer groups, fostering the exploration, design, and presentation of their projects. This approach encourages learners to formulate hypotheses, investigate processes, and draw conclusions, empowering them to articulate and defend ideas, building confidence in their ability to formulate individual opinions and become the authors of their own learning journeys. Explorations are based upon long term projects throughout the year, allowing students to build upon previously mastered concepts, deepening their ability to learn. We love Prodigy! My 2-year-old enjoys going to "school" every day and has learned so much! He can count to 20, sing the alphabet, name all the colors, and so much more. I am truly impressed and so thankful we chose Prodigy!
I have always been an anxious mom and struggled to find reliable sitters/daycare. Then I stumbled upon Prodigy, who has always been great at communicating and making sure my concerns are heard, they have always reassured me he’s in the best hands possible! my son started at 2yrs old and is now 3! he is always so happy being there, has progressed so much academically, speech, and social wise. I love that he’s been thriving because of them, he loves his teachers and staff. and I am so thankful for them everyday !
My son has been to a few daycares since he started at 1yr old. Every parent knows no school is perfect. My husband and I were relieved when we found this daycare and preschool after having had some incidents at other schools. This daycare and preschool is the best you can find. From the curriculum to the staff. First and foremost, safety and cleanliness is highest priority here. The procedures in place assure that all kids are safe and have minimized transmission of illness. Parents are notified of sickness in the different grades. Items are sanitized with a zono machine. Pickup and drop off is locked down so no one goes where they shouldn't. The teachers are treated like teachers and the turnover is almost nonexistent. The teachers have real benefits and are certified. The school is Cognia certified. The curriculum teaches kids to be independent, critical thinkers and supplies hands on creative activities that tailored for each age group. Art, music, dance are all encorporate. There is an art studio, kitchen, and STEM lab available. The play yard is clean, padded astroturph that is surrounded by brand new gapless fencing. The play areas also have covering and shade, and even the infant classes have direct access to a fenced in play section with equipment appropriate for their age. Overall, if you need to find a daycare or preschool, don't walk. Run to Prodigy for a tour and find out for yourself how amazing this place is!
We have been at prodigy for over 2 1/2 years and could not ask for better care for our little one! The staff are always so helpful and there to answer any questions we have!
